My Journey
I started coding when I was 13 (you can find a more detailed account of this adventure at the bottom of this page ๐) and scored my first paid gigs at 15. While still in school, I worked as a Full-Stack Developer for a Florence-based company for eight months. After that, I acquired enough clients to open my own office upon graduation. Over the years, my focus shifted from coding to UI and then to UX, emphasizing User-Centered and Outcomes-Based methodologies (which I've written about extensively on Medium). My career took a significant leap at Cantiere Creativo, where I managed major UX projects and led UX/UI development for large-scale websites, software, and apps. as well as curated the product strategy of big names like Uffizi, Polimoda, Comune di Siena, etc.

My story
My www-love story
started as a kid
At just 12 years old, I was a kid deeply lost in the world of online video games. My passion for tech and virtual worlds soon led me to explore new territories, and one year later, I landed on a big virtual reality chat that was pretty famous in Italy (boasting 9k unique users per day). As a passionate chat user, I managed to create my first forum using the popular platform Forum Free, and once I mastered my first few HTML tricks, I crafted my own website. At the time I was 14 years old.
As luck would have it, one day some chat admins posted an ad: "We are looking for our first moderators ever." I answered back, and two weeks later, I got a phone call from Milan; I was selected along with three other users. I received a one-week training and then started my unbelievable (for a kid) mod career. In a very short span, my popularity skyrocketed, and, moreover, my website, which was about the virtual reality chat, reached 1k visitors per week.
It was at this point, at age 14, that I decided to leave video games behind and start learning programming. By 15, I had secured my first paid gigs with two companies in Milan, thanks to a programmer I met online (I remember going to a shopping mall with my brother to buy a fancy, elegant winter jacket to celebrate with the money). I also became an active developer for a CMS called e107 and contributed to the Ubuntu wiki, all while learning programming languages like Python, C++, and Java.
At the age of 17, I was working as a Fullstack developer for a web marketing firm in Florence. Under the supervision of a senior developer, I developed a social community platform for photographers while still attending high school.
After receiving my diploma at 19, I immediately opened my own office, as I already had a roster of clients. Over the past 13 years, I've worked in various aspects of the web and software industry. Gradually, I shifted my focus from coding to design, ultimately specializing in UX.
